Block 99

Block 99

Aspen, CO
Completed Q2 2015

Block 99 is a unique preservation and redevelopment project on a 6,000-square-foot lot located in the heart of downtown Aspen. It is within walking distance to all downtown amenities: seasonal farmer’s market, bike trails, art, music, shopping, restaurants, parks, gondola, and the new Shigeru Ban-designed Aspen Art Museum.

Austin Lawrence Partners acquired the site in 2010. The redevelopment plan included the restoration of the two 1890s historic miner’s cabins and the addition of a new commercial/residential three-story structure, separated by a landscaped courtyard. Completed in July of 2015, the commercial/residential building includes a 2,500-square-foot one-of-a kind penthouse.
